My personality is very different from both of my parents, and everyone else in the family for that matter. We don't have much in common at all.

I do share a few traits with my mother, but not much.

I've actually been told by a few people that I'm so different from the rest of my family, both personality and appearance wise, that it's hard to imagine I'm from the same family as the rest of them. I happen to agree.

The worst of both should be an option.

I've been told I'm practically a clone of my dad!

Definitely my dad.
Both my dad and I are introverts and don't talk much.

Mine is a mixture of my mom and dad. I'm both lazy AND easily angry. XD

My parents are nearly twins in regards to personality, and I act a lot like both of them, although my interests are different. My sister is really the only person in my family that doesn't fit in because she's way more extroverted and NT than the rest of us. I tend to be more skeptical of concepts like religion than my parents, I have different interests and I tend to not get upset as easily, but that's where the differences end.

I have a lot of my dad's traits. I have the same gestures, facial expressions, I sit the same way. Relatives tell me that if I'm talking on the phone, I sound identical to him. I even cough the same way as him.
My Mam laughs about how similar my mannerisms are to my dad, although if she's ever annoyed with me she'll say "you're just like your bloody father!" (my parents are divorced - although on good terms).

My dad is a lot more sociable than me though, he doesn't have Aspergers. That seems to come from my Mam's side. I have an uncle who probably has it, and a second cousin who definitely does - both on that side of the family.

I do have mannerisms from my Mam. If we're in the same room then often we both find we do this cupping our chin in our hands thing at the same time.

Me and my mam both play guitar, and have the same facial expressions when doing so.

I'm more like my mom than my dad. I'm easily stressed, generally happy, and a little girly like my mom, but she's more extraverted than me. I'm dramatic when I'm upset and socially awkward like my dad, but it's hard for him to control his anger and I'm usually patient.

the clock in the laundry was an analogue clock, and it taught me discipline and regularity and reserve.

it never said anything, and it's hands pointed in the same directions at the same times every day.
talk about routine !. i could always be sure that it would not vary from it's routine, and because i could not vary from mine, i felt akin to it. i also said nothing because i admired the clock who said nothing.

even though the clock said nothing, people relied on what it indicated and so i thought that was the way i also wanted to be. i was about 2-3 years old then and i was lost to the "real" world.

i have no idea what your "winks" indicate. sorry if i can not reply to your innuendo.

i would advise you to be more explicit in what you say because i am not a mind reader.

Regarding which parent my personality is most like:

I never met my father and I did/do not like my mother.
