Professional artist, especially if I were hired to do manga adaptations of my favorite cartoons and movies.

It's unrealistic because the art business is difficult to break into (hence the term "starving artist") and my skill level is pretty mediocre.

I feel Im in the same boat, want to use my drawing and visual arts skills that I know I have deep down talent that I got from my father.

I pictured Sweeney Todd saying that.

That's Monty Python!

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay. I sleep all night. I work all day.

I'm going to run my own gaming consignment shop, but my dream job is a cartoonist.

Aside from my current occupation, I would like to do numerous things. One business I plan on soon starting will be a small company that replicates, designs and sculpts 3-D models. These can range from custom Warhammer miniatures (which is what the requests have centered on mostly), terrain (buildings, rock formations, etc. used in gaming) to fully articulated figures. In the same vein, I would also like to do more with screen printing and other graphic design techniques. Unlike the local printing places, I would focus on both large and small orders (even individual orders) with the same degree of professionalism, quality and attention to detail (the existing places refuse to take individual orders or charge an ungodly amount for poor workmanship).

I don't have a dream job that is impossible. I want to be a mechanic and a musician/author. I have already been published, so I am technically a writer, but I want to publish more of my works and get my music out there. I don't even care if I become well known or even have one fan, I want to make music simply to make music.

I totally agree. To me, anything homebased would be very awesome. Only problem is applying for those kinds of jobs because I'd be afraid of running into scams. Also, some of those companies ask you to give them valid reasons for needing to do stay-at-home type work, (I was seriously considering this for a job) and I couldn't imagine them accepting my answer of not being a people-person as a valid one.
