I only ever had two wisdom teeth surface.
The top ones - so I guess I'm only half wise?
Had them removed about six years ago.
I got dry socket afterwards.
That was more painful and unpleasant than the extraction.

Yeah, those annoying back teeth. Some of you have gotten them removed, whom amongst us has?

Mine were removed in August 2006.

Mine have started to hurt when I put my head on my pillow to sleep.
Fells like they are dislocating the other teeth and might be grinding them at night.
Eventually I'll probably need some intervention.

I had all four removed about 15 years ago. They were pushing into my molars pretty badly.

My bottom two are impacted. I wasn't aware of them until I had an x-ray in my 30's and then realised that they were causing me to have periodic bouts of pain for 2/3 days at a time which spread through my jaw, ear and into my head on one side or the other. I was probably having these pains for years beforehand but would have dismissed them as a regular headache.

I'm prepared to put up with the intermittent pain rather than go through the process of having them out which, at my age, does carry a fair amount of risk. They do seem to have settled down over the last year, I haven't thought about them so much of late.

Had them all removed. It was a pain, and to make matters worse the oral surgeon I went to was nasty and not understanding that I have sensory issues.

Had only one removed, as it was the only one that wasn't content to just stay tucked away in my jaw and not bother anyone. Back in 2007 I think. Couldn't afford to go to an oral surgeon at the time but I did have a fantastic dentist that skillfully cut the little bugger out.

Wish I had listened to his advice about not smoking or using straws. Dry socket is unbearable!
