Well this one will be on FedEx vehicle for delivery for the next two days. On schedule, though.

A fedex delivery guy just called me to ascertain my address, as someone in my family wrote it wrong on a package. H was next door, so it was easy, and I thought it was pretty considerate of him to take the time to find the right address, instead of sending the box back.

Here's the tracking on some recent things I ordered.

Network disruption due to weather conditions in Phoenix? Is the weather too hot and sunny for them?

 ha - that is what I thought too. I guess they meant 'somewhere along the route'. Or is an excuse. (?) An interesting thing I noticed is that although I paid an extra amount for faster shipping, on the tracking it says shipped by ground UPS. Maybe I've been deluded in thinking that paying extra means UPS 2 day delivery. I think I need to go back and see exactly how amazon phrases the shipping fees.

This has to be one of the craziest routing jobs I have ever seen the USPS do. What was supposed to be a simple two day first-class package delivery turned into nine day journey when they routed it through a couple of extra states. Including sending it up north were it probably was delayed by bad weather. What were they thinking?

I wouldn't say I love tracking packages, but I am OCD enough to find it impossible not to.

I order most of what I buy online so I really like to track my packages. I find that it makes me even more excited to get what I ordered.
