Alucard is the main character from Hellsing. A bit like a more egotistical and violent version of Vincent, although to explain his character more would be to give too much away. Needless to say, while Vincent looks like a vampire, Alucard IS a vampire. Here's a picture.
(Sorry about the size of the picture....)
Hellsing is a very violent manga and anime, so I wouldn't recommen keeping it where your parents can see. I'm talking pretty damn violent and gory.
