Why would Asperger's cause one to fart so much a day? Maybe you have irritable bowels syndrome, which can be caused by stress, not Asperger's itself. I have a relative who farts all the time, whatever she eats, whether she eats or not.

OP maybe you have IBS?
IBS is linked to stress, so maybe your ASD causes you stress, therefore you develop IBS?

don't know about any of that, all I know is that the wind all too often is at my back, so to speak

I fart and don't even know it until somebody objects.

i remember when i was a little kid, i had eaten chili and cheese and milk the previous night for dinner, and in the morning it was cold [wintertime] and my beans would not behave. so when i boarded the schoolbus and took a seat, the winds soon began to blow, and before long the kid next to me and behind me vomited. the windows of the bus were closed [cold outside] and the heater was in front and blew the warm foulness to the back of the bus, and soon kids were rolling the windows down in a vain attempt to get some fresh air. the bus driver sneered and yelled "ROLL UP THOSE GODDAMNED WINDOWS NOW!!" so the windows went back up, and soon the winds began to blow again, and soon afterwards more kids were vomiting, and the smell became noticeable to the busdriver who sneered right at me [i don't know how he knew] and yelled "ROLL DOWN THOSE GODDAMNED WINDOWS NOW!!" after we disembarked at the school entrance, some kids asked me, "man, what did you EAT last night?" i told 'em about the chili and dairy, and they told me, "ah man, no effing wonder!"

nowadays, my gas seems milder [at least to me] and trumpets its presense only when i have a shipment to unload. btw those are the worst ones.
