wots the "olden days" to you?

I was old even when I was young in some ways... and I go for the icecream though it has to be Maple and Walnut - NZ icecream is yummy!! ! All that green grass the cows feed on

I think I'd prefer maple and pecan.

I'm only 31 & don't feel old but I never felt like I was young except with immaturity. I may meet about half the things on that list thou.

1~ I occasionally fall asleep watching TV at night due to minor sleep apnea.
2~ I've been forgetful with some things all my life due to dyslexia, ADD & stress/anxiety.
4~ I sometimes say "when I was a kid" or "when I was younger".
5~ I've always chose comfortable cloths when I had a choice & I never cared about style.
6~ I've repeated myself sometimes sense I was little because I'm used to others tunning me out or misunderstanding me due to my dyslexia.
7~ I've always been somewhat selective about music but I have some idea of the current music but I don't like the current stuff as much as I used to.
8~ I sometimes comment about how things have changed.
10~ I sometimes have naps because I usually go to bed late but sometimes have to get woken up early or get woken up by noise & I don't sleep the best due to the sleep apnea.
11~ I never paid much attention to celebs except one.
13~ I've always liked staying in & never drank much.
16~ I never had many friends or had a strong desire to meet them but I would pick the dinner because I always liked food more than drinking.

I was "old" when I was young.

I only do about half of those things.

you are very youthful creature indeed

Maybe my body is aging,but my mind feels the same as it did when I was a kid.Some stuff still amazes me.

if I had my present mind in my 30-years ago body I'd be all set.

There was a Star Trek Voyager episode where people aged backwards,Tuvok was stranded with what he thought were young children,but they were old and dying.
It doesn't seem fair,when we get the wisest,we die.

the Benjamin button scenario would be the best if we got wiser as we got younger.

I seen that ep. There was also an ep of the original series that they made a kids Saturday morning cartoon series for one season where there was an admiral & his wife board. The admiral reached the age where he was forced to retire & the ship ended up in another dimension where people aged backwards. The Enterprise crew was rapidly aging backwards more than the rest so the admiral took command in the plan to get them out sense he had the most time due to being oldest. He used the crews trasnporter patterns on file to turn them from kids to their proper ages & he also made him & his wife old again.
There's a saying that goes "Youth is wasted on the young".
