I collect scabs that I picked from my skin. Feel free to puke. But I think it's interesting, especially when I pick scabs that are large and are of unique shape. I remember one scab I had was large and was shaped like an arrowhead mouse pointer. Of course my mom kept getting rid of my scab collection everytime she came in to clean my room.

I once collected toilet paper tubes. I ended up with about 400 of them before i decided "Okay, this has gone far enough"

I used to collect begonia plants and get all excited when I'd find a new variety.

Aren't all toilet paper tubes pretty much the same, though? :)

Try every single collection...

Currently, I'm collecting pottery shards and other things I find in landfills. But I think my strangest collection was in 3rd grade, when I collected eraser crumbs in my desk at school.

My teacher didn't like that one bit.

Oh gosh... I had an insect collection way back when. Not so weird... unless you're a girl. Then people start calling you the bug lady. :?

I have had many collections over the years, but I am unsure as to whether any qualified as 'weird'. TBH, I really don't know what is considered normal.

When I lived in my childhood home, there was a chestnut tree in the backyard. I used to collect the chestnuts that fell out in the hopes of feeding them to hungry squirrels in the winter. But unfortunately, I didn't know that I was supposed to dry the chestnuts before putting them in the plastic bag, so they got moldy and my mom threw them away.

Another time I tried collecting the dead skin from my callouses which I harvested with nail clippers. Yeah, I know - gross.

I was a bug lady kid too. I also discovered that red-eyed grasshoppers bite...and it stings.
I used to think they were demonic...lol

right now I just collect yarn, hand spun, hand dyed yarn which my mother likes to take snippings of and put into her pocket....urg.

I discovered ladybug piss stings. I don't like ladybugs.

I also collect yarn these days. I use it, though, and I'm not terribly picky about the type.

I still collect toilet paper rolls. My collection never seems to grow, though, and somehow I find bits of brown cardboard all over my house.

Grrr kids. :P
