I certainly don't mind too much sun and warmth myself, but I don't have a great tolerance for very hot weather. Fortunately where I live it rarely goes above 30C, though when it does I was fortunate enough to be at the seaside :D Being further inland with higher humidity does suck!

Winter has always been my favorate season, there is no protection from the heat but in the cold when it gets too cold you can always harm yourself up.

I hate the HEAT! And it's worse when there is humidity, too. I also hate the bugs that come out. Already, there's millions of these little white moths that like to fly in my face, and gnats! I hate sweating, and I hate having to smell other people's sweat. Ugh! Things seem so much cleaner when it's cold.

I want to know who else hates hot weather.
Does it make you sick, depressed and frustrated? Or are you one of the sadistic people who actually enjoys this disgusting torture?

Not only that, but there's stupid tanning/sunbathing, which doesn't make sense to me.

I never have been able to tan. Even joined a tanning salon, and it just wouldn't do anything. Except give me more freckles, and who needs that? :p

I still go to the beach sometime... but I tell them to bring their sunglasses, to avoid the glare... :))

I hate really hot weather. Anything over 80F. Would prefer 55-75F year-round. (Seriously thinking of moving to Hawaii one of these days.)

I'm ok with colder weather too... as long as it's not windy. Cold wind goes right through me.

The only thing I like about the summer is no more school. :D Other than that, it's my least favourite time of the year. Unfortunately, living in California, it's practically summer every day of the year. I wish it would rain every day.

I too hate hot weather, but I wouldn't rather be cold than hot. Cold requires extra food intake. If you're cold and have no food, you die. Humidity does suck.

I've had to wear sandals all the time instead of shoes, so I'm glad that it's finally warm where I am. February-April is my least favorite time of year. Cold + wind + sandals = Stay inside.

Roger Bannister once did military service in Aden, South Yemen, which gets up to 130 degrees with 65 percent humidity. He studied heat illness as a doctor there. How did he ever avoid getting sick himself? He coped with the exact opposite, bitter cold and wind, on his epic sub four minute mile run at Iffley Road. This man must have had a strong constitution to withstand such extremes.

acclimatisation ... and lots of G&T's in the officers mess

I have experienced 125F. Its quite unpleasant.

Usually I hate what ever the eather is. If its hot, I would like it to be cold. If its cold, I want it to be hot. If there's no wind, I wish there was, if its windy, its too windy. (not that I ever whinge. Its ok to complain, just don't whinge)
