Do you say bathroom or restroom in public places

Out in public I say rest room but in the house I say bathroom. Because it makes no sense to have a bath in a public area.

We call them both paskahuussi which means, literally, shít house.

Restroom is such a strange word. It's the last room I'd wish to rest in! :lol:

I'd say W.C., toilet or bathroom.

If it's a public "restroom" no way I'm saying bathroom. I say that when I talk to Americans, but just if it is in someone's home. I would probably say restroom or lavatory. Informally I'd say the loo. Also informally I let my Scandinavian upbringing take over, I say I need to go pee. Yes, we actually TELL people what we are going to do in there, especially peeing. :lol:
