I see you are a fan of SpongeBob. I approve. Now you need a Krusty Krab!

That is one big tank. It all must take a lot of looking after. :)

Actually am looking into a crab :D

Didn't know there were fully aquatic crabs like this for aquarium that get so big, they're not as aggressive as crayfish/lobster which I was thinking about initially.

Big tanks are actually easier to look after once they are set up since the water perimeters don't change as quickly, once it's cycled you just got to keep up on basic maintenance. I had a beta in the 10 gallon tank with all these guys before, he's a lot happier now I think that there isn't a torrent of mollies surrounding him at all times lol.

The filter I got for this thing is kind of a trip, it's a big canister filter which I never used before always just the over the back ones. I got extra mechanical media, ceramic rings, bio-balls, and activated carbon in there.

Right now it's just a kingdom of mollies lol, these things have babies way too fast!

They're a little live bearing fish that get about 2-3", they breed really fast and it doesn't even matter if you separate the male and females because the females can keep the male ugh... for up to 6 months. I started with 6, it was 4 dalmatian lyretail mollies and the platinum sailfin molly but 2 died being the two other mails leaving one male platinum sailfin and the 3 female dalmatian which he didn't mind lol. They're funny kind of fish, the male is very dominant has a big fin along its back, they're a very active fish.

That aquarium looks stunning. Fish and other aquatic creatures may not be very cuddly, but are therapeutic to observe.

I also keep Livebearers. I keep Guppies and Least killing fish. I am going to set up a brackish tank for the Least Killifish.

I wish I had somewhere to take the mollies, they just keep having babies. They'll fill this 55 gallon soon enough, think I need a fish that will keep the population in control

apparently mollies prefer brackish water but they seem fine in freshwater, fine enough to have like 30+ babies.

They can even live in saltwater. Most Livebearers can tolerate at least Brackish water.

Mollies need at least hard water, but some of the wild ones need Brackish. The molly salt debate is one of the great debates in Fishkeeping. Do any of you use live plants?
