Yes, I found this out when I put the cat who lives in my house in the microwave this afternoon. They are less susceptible to panic than dogs are as well simply because they can (and do) enter such a state regularly without harm.

Not that it matters, I wasn’t speaking of their (cats or dogs) ability or inability to kill humans…, I was speaking of dogs’ intentions being easier to read than humans', "killing" was used as an example.
Have you heard of a cat defending its companion from human aggression? I haven't....

yes to that, too. a few times (my cat included in this) my cat used to bite people who tried to hurt me
