There is such a thing as housecats too, and they're called that for a reason

dogs play the whole nt game: alpha animals are to be followed, social structure for life, etcetera... cats are loners. like us. they are more of a vis-a-vis counterpart, whereas dogs are a lame excuse. basically, id say that cats are for people mature enough to have counterparts. dogs are more for those who still crave the whole social-force thing but dont get it to work with humans. stupid dog follows everywhere, its your very own place to be a backyard dictator that all the nts aspire to be.

I wanna be a dictator too and control the world..But I have Asperger, so that isn't a "NT" trait. So I like the whole deal with having "command" over something, even if it's just a dog.

Cats are anti-social, not aspergians. And digs aren't NTs, they are what NTs would be like in a properly fuctional society. Or they could be considered social Aspergerians

Thats not all true.. Cats can do many tricks, haven't you ever seen homeward bound, or that darn cat, their trained cats! Cats can wake people up in case of emergency, and are very loyal. My cats don't just come up to cuddle when they want food, mine runs right up to me as soon as I walk into the door and jumps up on my shoulder, and then if I'm sitting down she runs to my lap to relax. People can also train their cats to walk on leashes to take them for walks also. I know a guy who takes his cat for pet therapy at nursing homes, and walks it on a leash. My cat doesn't run off for days either, when I let her out, she just hangs around the house until I call her name to come in, and she walks on in. Both of my cats also come when I call their names which I thought is pretty amazing, and cats are usually purring when their happy 90percent of the time.

I don't have anything against dogs, I use to put my greyhound through dog shows and did really good, but I just like cats better because you don't have to let them out to go to the bathroom, you don't have to worry if you leave the cats out when their young as much as you worry when you leave a puppy out. We can go away for days and leave our cats food, water, and two clean kitty litters and their fine, with our dogs, we usually have to find a place for them to be taking care of. I'm not pro-cat if you would say, but I'm just standing up for cats, because I love my babies. I do like my greyhound sometimes too, but my other dog is only 5 and half months, and he just drives me nuts!

I've never heard of a cat with an ASBO.

nor have I, cats aren't even anti-social so CANNOT get an ASBO

I think there is two main reasons why people don't like cats:

1) They scratch people, piss on the floor, make noise i.e. act as a general annoyance

2) They offer very little emotional interaction and what interaction they do offer is shallow on an emotional level; my mother thinks that her cat likes her because it comes and sits next to her and comes and finds her in the morning but that is just because they like body heat, being scratched and stroked and they also like to treat the people who feed them well. I mean, when I go round to my mother's house, the cat comes and cuddles up next to me and sort of scratches his head against me or miaws until I scratch it or stroke it.

I don't mind them so much but I don't particularly see the attraction in them either. I can se why people like them but I can also see why people don't like them.

If that were true I would be dead today.

Cats are so smart they come over automatically.

Cats can do one better, they teach YOU tricks.

It's not the cat's fault you aren't smart enough to read their tail.

Cats don't actually sleep, they don't call it a "catnap" for nothing.

Dogs are loyal because they are too stupid to know otherwise. Cats show genuine affection on a higher level.

And you have to, but with cats are content to stay inside.

Cats are smart enough to find their way back, when a dog runs off they get lost and end up in the pound or die.

Cats clean and dry and not smelly and slobbery.

Yeah, I can hear five or six obnoxious loud-ass dogs "talking" right now. I don't understand how producing that horrible noise is a good thing.

Cats don't go out and attack people who are minding their own business. If a cat attacks you you had to have done something mean to them. Dogs attack whoever they can, how their owners haven't been killed by them yet is a complete mystery to me.

Of course that's an NT trait. It's your response to NT's. You don't want to be controlled, and you think the only way to avoid being controlled is to control anyone who might want to control you. If there were no NT's, there could be no dictators.

My other cat (not pictured) knows how to turn the handle on the sink to turn it on so she can drink from it (The sink has an elongated knob that is easy to turn). She only does it if her water bowl gets too many catfood pieces in it...

I have known a few people who were affraid of cats over the years. Each time whatever cat that I had would always make it a point to realy pester them. Even my grandmothers cat who isn't normaly very social will pester people who either hate, or are affraid of cats.

Cat Logic: Cats like people that ignore them.

Hahaha that reminds me of my Mom's cat Quasimoto who used to sit and stare at my sister's friend who was afraid of cats. It used to totally freak her out.

Sometimes they can be unpredictable, they can shred furniture, if you get bit by one you might have to go to the hospital because of the bacteria causing an infection. Sometimes they are afraid or don't want to be with you.

Of course only some cats are like this, but not all.

i just dont like domesticated animals for some reason, cats are better than dogs but only because they cant attack doing serious bodily damage
