I think it's up to the individual person which part of the house they want to be in.

I will go with it.

When I was a young man, women needed to be barefoot, pregnant and chained to the kitchen. :P <joke>
Thought is was a popular fantasy, by some men, but not me. 8O

To be fair, I'm pretty much against it.

There are plenty of men working in the kitchens of restaurants. I don't care about the gender of the people who are making my food. They just have to know what they are doing. I don't want a bad cook of either gender.

You'd better lock me in the garage, because I'll eat everything in the kitchen. You can let me into the kitchen at 8, 12 and 6.

I don't miss those days at all. To each, their own.

Hmm, but there’s more food stored in our garage than in our kitchen.. that’s where the overflow mostly goes.

The 1990s U.S. sitcom 'Home Improvement' is notable here. The character (the neighbor) Wilson in the series contributed to the series with both his novel, and important perspectives.

I’d rather change spark plug wires than do the dishes.I like to cook, just not the clean up later.

I'm a woman and I like both cars and cooking. I wouldn't mind washing dishes and I wouldn't mind changing a flat tire. I believe those stereotypes are very sexist and outdated.

Are there trains in the garage? And what sort of car is in there?

It depends on the woman or man, I think.

Idk honestly I feel I know a tiny bit more about garage/car stuff than my boyfriend(saw my dad and other family doing work on cars and stuff growing up so I have at least observed that kind of stuff) but not enough I feel I'd be all that competent working on a vehicle. I am pretty alright at cleaning in the kitchen and around the house, but for sure my boyfriend is much better at cooking(I never really learned much cooking though). So yeah I figure it all just depends on what things you have learned and gotten good at not what gender you are.
