Wish I could offer you a place but I'm in South Africa... have heard Georgia is one of the bastions of conservatism though and it sounds like it will be tough enough to even find a spot for self service let alone meeting up, but you never know! Strange things can happen even in the sticks!

I wish I could live in the city of Atlanta. Atlanta is actually very different from the rest of Georgia they are big on Civil Rights there and there's even a gay community there like in most big cities. Plus there are so many cool things to do in Atlanta.

And I really don't hate Georgia. It's where I grew up and there are some bad things about the state but there are also some good things too. I just think I'm going to have a hard time readjusting once we move back.

That is so cool that you are from South Africa! :D

Thanks Twiz, South Africa has unique challenges but then so do most countries. It's a very beautiful and diverse country and difficult to describe adequately in a few sentences.sss

Our larger cities do have quite active gay communities but not much happening in my small city.

I honestly don't know a lot about Africa but I once bought these cool cloth dolls from a lady who was from Ghana which is in West Africa. I imagine it's different from South Africa right?.

The dolls were women wearing these beautiful patterned dresses with matching headclothes and one was holding sticks propped on her shoulder and the other was holding a long stick in some kind of little bowl. The women also had little babies wrapped on their backs and the lady explained to me that the women in that country actually carry their babies on their backs while they work in the villages doing various jobs. I thought that was very cool! :D Maybe later I'll post a picture of the two dolls if anybody wants to see them?

Yes please you can post a pic of them!

Here women also carry their babies on their back a lot while they're doing their chores.

Some of the more traditional women carry their burdens e.g. shopping bags, buckets or even carpets on their heads! It's quite interesting to see how well they manage.

There's much less Westernization in the rural tribal areas where one can still see a glimpse of the old Africa.

Oh, well to be perfectly honest I used to have another account years ago but I lost my email and password for it and I don't even remember what my old username was so I just made a new account with my new email. And I never used to post pictures of myself on the internet until recently so I doubt you guys ever saw a picture of me.

me too me too  I lost my previous gmail email (in fact that previous gmail email was my second gmail email, because I got inveted by someone when the gmail was still in its infancy) because Google decided sans m'en avertir that they reduced the time from connection to connection of an account from one full year to nine months. So the last time I powered my 2012 Google tablet, boom! Disparu le compte :D

But....all my passwords in recent (relatively speaking) times are written on some bouts de papier... and recently (not relatively speaking this time, eh) I decided to donner un brin de saucette (okay, now, listen to me, that is supposer to be a québécois expression, but I not well founded in everything in this world, trust me, I'm a cat) to some freespaces that welcomed me sans jugements when my past desire to connect with other cat beings was the main source of my then redondant motivation (he's wierd, isn't it? :D ).

So first:
1. I connected back with then AspiCentral, where their now call themselves another name (the freespace, not the people^^) I didn't care to find that password, so I just clicked to get a new one. (was in 2015, I made a second (yet anoter?) gmail account that time because all my passwords were in my mother's house, and I was in my father's house, so it was a case of force majeure (yeah, French!) :?: parenthesis? ). Winning the captcha game was harder than what i anticipated, thought (trust me, I am not a robot). okay now I don't remember what I did, but I entré there, I am not ther pour y rester. (I am PlaidInBlue there, chouette, non?)

2. The Zoo
zebrascrossing if a French forum for gifted adults beings. I never ever have been administrated an official IQ test (as far as I know it), but for some reason, in 2013 after a suicide attempt, my then psy told me i was very smart (en passant, salute you, Thad! ), so, in late november 2013, I read page after pages of comments/testimonies on a French blog somewhere in French webspace (blue bannier, chouette), and I started to have les yeux plein d'eau. I then decided to inscrire myself (as Campagne Radis there) under the disguise of being a radish (very effective costume, I was like the Invisible Man because of this astuce*). I don't want to, well, continue writting this comment. But I got banned there 2 time since last week (or the one before I don't know), the next time I will be delocked, will be the 30th. Chouette, hein?

3. WrongPlanet (planet trinity in fact^^^)
Here we are, here now. Well, I don't like to continue this effort of writing this particular comment, so I will vous laisser, with a funny video  (take care, all the funky bunch (yuk, what an UGLY expression, eh)

I'll have to upload them when I have enough time because I might be busy this weekend and I'll need to resize the images but I will definetly show them. I actually collect all kinds of cool stuff that I display in my bedroom because I have an eye for neat things whenever I go shopping. I think you would be inpressed at all the different kinds of cool stuff I collect. 8)

And that is amazing! My Mom had a college professor who has travelled to Africa many times and she was African American. She explained that she was so impressed by what the women can do over there that it made her realize that she herself doesn't like to be called "African" American because even though she is very proud of her African heritage as an American woman she could never do the things that those women do. She felt as if she didn't earn the right to be called an African after seeing them so now she just thinks of herself as simply being an American. I thought that was very interesting and made a lot of sense. :)

I went to the fair yesterday and bought a cool peice of oval-shaped hematite with a large hole in it and I'm going to try and add it to my necklace and post a picture of if later. 8)

This can be like a memory necklace where I add on little trinkets over time that remind me of places I have been to that made me happy. :D
