Went out again to get groceries and thought I'd have some time before a storm hit but I didn't and I had to race the car back to the shopping centre's undercover parking complex, leaving my frozen/cold groceries to thaw out in the back seat :x
I went to the grocery store last night before going to get a hamburger. I was getting ready to checkout and realized that if I went to get a hamburger, the frozen foods would be pretty much melted by the time I got home. So I went back and put all the frozen foods back.

I was a little disappointed, though. One frozen food that would not have thawed in an hour was the smoked turkey breast I had intended to buy, but they didn't have any. I like turkey leftovers after Thanksgiving, but since I always eat at relatives houses for Thanksgiving, they have the leftovers, not me. So last year I bought a smoked turkey to use as leftovers and it worked out really well.

I'll ask the manager if they are going to have smoked turkey this year. If not, I'll have to look elsewhere.

When I'm at the office, I park at the recycling center either in the city shop or under the awning.

Something kind of funny happened at the office today.

First of all, it's a small family business but with the largest office building in town. On a typical day, we will have three or more dogs at the office.

When I was fixing myself a bite to eat for lunch in the kitchen at the back of the office, one of the dogs came back and started getting in my way. For fun, I got behind the dog and started following it around. It only took the dog about two minutes to figure out I was following her. When she realized what I was doing, she made a bee line to the back door and waited patiently for me to open it so she could go outside.

A little while later, I tried it again. Like the first time, but a little faster, she went to the back door and waited for me to open it for her.

I got a pretty good kick out of this.

Today went really well. :) My parents came over and I got to do some shopping at Walmart. Then we went to A&W for supper, and after that we went to see the jack-o-lanterns on display at the park. I carved and donated one for the park myself.

I think that I've come down with a minor ear infection. It may be minor, but that doesn't make it any less annoying.

It could be better but then it could also get worse.

Still in bed, even though it's almost 1pm. The weather outside has been horrible all morning, although the sun is out now. The wind is still bashing my boat about.

It's one of those days when I just can't seem to find any motivation.

I spent the rest of the day asleep on the sofa. It's noticeably better now.

If you can source garlic extract eardrops , 4 drops per ear every night .
Do it for 2 more nights acter you think it is better .
This has worked for me in the past , thought to suggest . Have much experience with ear infections .in the past many years.
Am sorry you have that infection.. it is a pain.. no pun intended .

Thanks. I'll take a look for those.

It's much better today. I had it part of last week and Saturday was the worst. I'll take a look for the ear drops, but in my area, that might be hard to find.

I set my clocks back and hour last night, so I guess anything bad that does happen today or the next several days is because of Daylight Savings Time, no matter what it is.

Okay am not sure you level of culinary creative experience . . IF YOU GET
In a spot ? Can always get a garlic . Handheld press .. squeeze juice ..
Small bottle ? Eyedropper? If you have access to any coconut oil liquid
Add 1 drop per 7 squeezed garlic cloves . JUST A Thought ..have had to make most outta nothing before . Coconut oil optional.
Many second hand stores carry these in with the knives and forks spot.

Monday was cold. The high for the day was 32 and we had winds of about 30 mph.

We had a number of problems overnight, but I didn't get much sleep. The wind was blowing the electrical lines into each other and we were having momentary brownouts, knocking our networks down. Every time that happened, I had to go check to make sure that nothing went down and restart anything that did.

I had to leave the office twice. The first time was out to the airport because their network was down. When I arrived, an employee was outside walking around. Before I could get out of the truck, he told me that the problem was that they had no electricity at all.

The second time was in the afternoon when I had to go to a local woman's house. We were going to install Internet at her house but we put it off until today because of how cold it was. It is supposed to be about 20 degrees warmer this afternoon than it was yesterday.

After that, I went to another customer location and reconfigured their network for them.

After I got back, I sat down in a chair, fell asleep, and slept until nearly midnight.
