Hate takes too much energy. I dislike him, though, and will be glad when he's gone.

Remember boys and girls; the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

Maybe some of us hate Trump because we actually DO care about our country? Anyone who's genuinenly indifferent towards him must not give a s**t. Just a thought.

It does hurt me a lot what has been happening and not just Trump, the Republicans, The Democrats, the emboldened white supremacists, the erase our history warriors etc. and non political things such as lawnmower parenting.

Our problems started long before Trump. Trump is simply pouring gasoline on a dangerous wildfire. Instead of "draining the swamp", he's actually overflowing it with stinky sewage.

I stopped believing DC was worth caring about in the summer of 2007. We might as well live in imperial Rome. Democracy is a charade...mob rule, demagogues. He's just another actor on the stage who's convinced himself the play is real.

I read today that Trump has mysophobia, which is the irrational fear of germs.

I find that VERY interesting. A person afraid of germs when their occupation requires them be around hordes of coughing, sneezing, infected people...

How effective is hand sanitizer? It says on the bottle it kills 99% of germs. But isn't 1 percent all it takes to infect a person? ...

The great years of Obama are long gone. Obama gave Americans hope and positivity for the future. Trump has brought negativity and Americans no hope for the future.

I am American and did not feel positive about what was going on during the Obama years. I saw the increasing polarization and lack of civility during his time. Plus the economy was really bad.
White nationalism and SJW's started getting bigger during his administration.

Trump has repeatedly poured gasoline on the fire and enjoys doing that. Demagogues and authoritarians don't gain agency all by themselves. There needs to be existing problems to exploit.

There are a lot of people who have a pathological obsession over trump.

Because Trump is making our country worse.

It's ironic to me that there is all the talk about trump being a narcissist, while there are so many who seem to think about him and talk about him 24/7. They even refer to him as being god-like.

Are you sure you're not a Trump supporter? You seem to spend just as much time defending him as some of us do complaining about him.

Also he's trying to cancel foodstamps. If I end up homeless and can't even get government assistance to help me eat I think I should have the right to be angry at him about that.

I have never put any such labels on myself. It's others who seek to label me as something.

I really don't care. I have my own problems to deal with right now, like possibly ending up homeless in the middle of nowhere because I can't take my mom's BS anymore and Trump aint doing a goddamn thing to help people like me!

I do not hate President Donald J. Trump; that is, I do not wish any harm upon him, his family, his co-workers, or anyone else associated with him.

However, I do wish he would STFU and/or go far, far away.
