You're well-off for herons and egrets in your neck of the woods! I'm interested to see a list like that from another country. The only one familiar to me is the cormorant. I've seen Little Egrets in France, but I think that's a different species.
During a cold snap last week, I spotted what I'm pretty sure were Redwings, a species of thrush. I've never seen them before- apparently they rarely visit towns.
