I don't go around telling children that there's no Santa Claus.

I believe firmly in him.....but in a symbolic way.

There's a famous letter to a little girl named Virginia, written by a reporter from the New York Sun in about 1896. You should read it.

It's the origin of the expression: "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus."

My parents got called to school because I said in class that there is no Santa and it's the parents that place gifts under the 'tree. My parents got told by the emotional teacher that children must have something to believe in... LOL.

I live in Virginia. There is no Santa Claus, but sometimes I fill in for him.

A long times ago, I had read, (and did quite the double-take) after reading that there are laws on the books in B.C. Canada, and Washington State protecting Bigfoot:

Laws concerning Sasquatch - Bigfoot.

They may as well have laws requiring Santa Claus to file a flight plan on Christmas Eve.

I guess this is sort of a "just in case" sort of thing.

I call myself an agnostic "just in case" it turns out that there is a "supreme being," after all....

As far as Bigfoot is concerned....there is NO DOUBT that he/she doesn't exist.
