That happened in Gentleman Jack too.

Farm accidents are such a b*tch.

Get multiple liners for your car, but do it long ahead of time and try to get them free so there's no paper trail.
Scrapyards are good but sometimes you can get them lightly used from recent convicts.

Keep your hair short (Radish is smart to be bald), and trim your nails daily.
Also, use a lot of moisturiser because skin flakes can get you every time.

So difficult to be perfectly free of forensic evidence. I've seen real life documentaries where the murderer has been caught out by the smallest oversight. A drop of blood barely 1 mm across on the ceiling (blood splatter). A fingerprint in an inconceivable place in the car boot. Humans tend to leave a trail of tiny "bits" wherever they go. People buying (cash sale) a tarpaulin and saw at a hardware store caught on CCTV at the checkout. Someone buying a box of matches from a 24 hour garage 5 miles away from where they burned a house down. If the police have the time and resources it is amazing what they can find out.

It’s crazy what they can track these days. Let it be known on my digital footprint that I’m only joking and haven’t killed anyone or disposed of any bodies. It’s sad to think but someone could track all this chat one day when we’re just joking around.

I’ve seen some true crime and you’re right that it’s next to impossible to get away with crime these days between CCTV surveillance, phone tracking, black box data in cars, social media, and DNA. Ancestry databases can find the family of an offender very quickly and start narrowing in. I don’t even think cops need a warrant for that.

Even hogs won’t eat that thing.

Keep in mind, true crime usually focuses on solved cases, so there's an inherent presentation bias. :nerdy:

It's amazing, but they do need to locate some pieces before they can start putting the puzzle together.

Don't forget to wear your hairnet and gloves. If anyone asks, you're a sandwich artist.

You wouldn't believe how many people have offered to do it for me.
I think they're serious too.
Let it be known that I neither requested nor arranged such immoral, nefarious plans.
