It is a nice place, but it could do better without humans.

No, I think the world would be better off if parrots were in charge.

I think parrots and ravens could cooperate better than any government today. But parakeets could throw everything out of balance.

Sure you would greenblue, you don't have to be a parakeet :D just not a human 8O Anyone who doesn't like being a human also counts when the parrots and all other birds attack the kings, rulers, generals, and soldiers of this planet 8) 8) 8) 8) Parakeets invade :!:

"And I saw a single angel standing in the full light of the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds that flew across the sky, "Come and be present at God's great supper, that you may feast on the flesh of kings and the flesh of generals and the flesh of mighty men, on the flesh of horses and their riders, and on the flesh of all mankind, whether they are free men or slaves, great men or small." " Revelation 19:17-18

No I'm not part of some weird cult, I just like birds 8) Personally I think it would be funny to see birds opening a Tank hatch and dispatching the crew, but according to this passage the armies would already be dead. :( Super Hawk versus F-35!! 8O

BTW Terra Psittacorum means "the land of parrots" and was the original name explorers gave Australia. I'm not from there, but that's where I want to live. :D

isnt this the closest single start system to ours, the systems closer to us have multiple stars, binary or tripple star systems. Most systems in our galexy are binary systems from what I have read.

I nearly set the space speed record for the standing 4 & 1/2 lightyear run a small moon near Alpha Centauri to Stonehenge Earth. An unfortunate incident with the Physics Police (for breaking the laws of physics) a mere 26 miles from destination had my 96.47 hour hyperlight run disqualified :(

Poxima century is about this distance to Earth, Alpha century is farther away, it is the nearest system that most closly resembles ours (single star)

jeeze, u sound like your birds are your special interest. I have had parakeets in the past, they die 2 quickly, longest was 5.5 years old, it died when I was 9 and I cryed.

I have a 17 and 16 year old cockatele. I had an 13 year old African Grey, and we bought a cockatoo once from a friend of my dads but it was living with the family that sold it to us for its whole life, so when we brought it over it was loud and after a few days my mom could not take it anymore. I love my birds.

None. I would free-float in space with the Ousters.

I'd live on Vulcan or Q'onos (the Klingon homeworld ;)). Either the strict logic of Mr Spock's people or the total and complete worship of violence (expressed in art, excessive drinking and interactive opera  ) appeal to me a great deal.

I've changed my mind (big surprise). I'd stay on Earth. I doubt anime exists anywhere else in the galaxy or the universe.

Fine, everyone who wants to stay on Earth has to pick a continent for themselves. If more than one person wants it they have to state how much better use they would make of it, make things better than the other etcetera, show why you alone should claim the place.
