Dudes, most womens breasts are like half filled water baloons hanging like dead weight (which they are) from their chests. It's not pretty. And not wearing a bra only makes them hang lower and leaner.....

I would probably get used to women walking around topless.

I remember boners being a big problem for me in high school. All of the new hormones raging, not knowing how to deal with my new huge supply of libido. It took a lot of learning, discipline and technique to learn to control my boners and sexual excitability. A lot of it is mental control. This power I have still helps me today. I can look at women in a more neutral way. I can look at a woman, admire her body and beauty in a non-sexual way.

Girls walking around topless would probably impose a new learning curve, but I wouldn't be shocked if, with practice, I could learn to have a conversation with a topless girl--and not just post-coitus conversing. :)

if i was a woman, i would never wear a bra

another important question is why do women always get the kids in cusdoty fights?

the point is if it seems unfair there are other unfair things men dont get to partake in, it all evens out in the end i think

The women always get the kids because it's usually harder for judges to get themselves to mistreat "deadbeat moms" as badly.

Court cases in Ontario, BC, and Saskatchewan have established that it's legal for women to go topless in those provinces. By extension, it's pretty safe to assume legality across Canada, as you'd have to do some fancy footwork to get around that kind of unanimity.

However, I'm not planning to walk around topless anytime soon, as I don't enjoy being hassled by doofuses. Most women here seem to agree.

"Why can men walk around topless but women can't? This seems very sexist to me and makes no sense."

Because men don't have boobs.

When I used to live near the beach I would occasionally see shirtless men who had what I would consider to be boobs.

And on that note it may be legal but I have seen shirtless guys that I would rather have not seen...

I think the point of the argument is "Why are boobs so offensive that they cannot be exposed in public?"

It's stupid, really. Think about it: Even babies know what boobs look like, so what is all the fuss?

Well, there would an increase in accidents. Men would become overly distracted and hit other cars while driving. Insurance rates would skyrocket. The economy would go down the drain due to excessive lawsuits from injury cases. Bush would declare martial law. Then the prisons would seriously become over crowded, riots would breakout. And they'd make clones of Tonya Harding to handle the uprising.

It seems sexist to me aswell. Infact when I was a toddler it was something I always wondered about and asked my mother about.
I personally would not walk around topless, but I think that women should be allowed to. After all, breasts are just tissue and muscle used for feeding babies...there is nothing sexual about them.

Thing is, women pretty much could... if they wanted to. But since most don't it becomes a moot point, or right or whatever you want to call it. Like many have posted, it isn't illegal in most places but can still be considered socially unacceptable. If more women were okay with it and doing it then it would probably become more acceptable. It's mostly acceptable in european countries from what I know.

I don't have any issue with women wanting to be topless. But I suppose coming from a guy, maybe that doesn't mean too much.

Most women I see anymore are hardly wearing clothes as it is. It bothers me because they seem to have very little decency. But I'm also bothered by guys yanking off their shirts sometimes-I don't want someone's sweat all over my furniture with nothing in between to at least get some of it. I also don't dig going out to eat and seeing someone topless running around if it is an outside cafe of some sort. For some reason it just strikes me as indecent and disrespectful... then again, it could be the personalities of those I usually see running around like that.

On the other hand however, why is it socially acceptable for females to wear guy clothes, but not so much for guys to wear female clothes? At one point, females were not allowed to wear pants-why did that change for only one sex?

Logically,it doesn't make sense for breasts to be considered sexual, but the fact
they are is all down to shapes, angles and imagination.Clothes can actually
enhance the appearance.Having said that,if any women preferred to go around topless I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to. Wouldn't be recommended in most temperate climates where it would be rather chilly.
