Books, photos, parts of jewlry, beads, Egyptian stuff (anything), music books, memorobilia (like cards, some magazines that're old, gifts that're broken, homework, diaries and still doing them, letters, paintings I did. All in a big plastic box), cats if I could have more than I have, money, plant seeds(I keep in plastic baggies to plant when weather is right.), tarot cards, old barbies(a few from childhood), CDs, MP3s, makeup (yet I find myself forgetting to wear it), and lights.

I collect coins (including the state quarters), I have all the coins my grandpa collected, he gave them to dad and dad gave them to me.

I also collect swords and knives. My biggest one is my replica Masamune (Sephiroth's sword). It is almost as tall as I am and it's heavy but I can wield it fairly well now.

I don't actively collect much, it just kind of gathers.

I have a small coin collection worth about $6 that I've gathered over the years.
I used to collect comic books and comic cards, it's a rather meager collection, a little over 100 comics and some 400 cards.
I buy DVDs of movies I really like and have less than 200.
I buy CDs from artists I like and have a few hundred.
I also have a small collection of cheap weapons. I love blades, but hardly ever buy any and when I do I spend less than $20 typically.

Nothing in the thousands or worth thousands.

Good grief, it looks like a store. Yes, I'd say it counts.

Hmmm.... let's see...

I collect:

Cat stuff (not stuffed animals, but odd and unusual statues, like a wooden Bastet from Egypt and a jointed puppet cat from Borneo are among my prized pieces)

Salt shakers (I actually found a set at a yard sale with Wiccan symbols on them, and they were solid silver)

Old tin-type photos

Pottery & glassware

Wrought iron objects (wagon wheels, farming implements, etc)

Stuffed animals (not the 'cute' kind, they must resemble real animals)

Native American jewelry and art pieces, particularly Hopi, Zuni, Apache, Pima and Navajo

Do I collect anything?

I guess...I'll just list the things I pursue seriously.

1-- Guns. I'm a competitive shooter and a history buff, so I have all kinds.

2-- Coins. I focus on US coins and ancient Roman coins.

3-- Die cast race cars. I like racing, what can I say?
