My strangest "stim" was the habit of literally sucking on my tongue. I did this all the time from the ages of 6 to 11. It took 5 years of my parents constantly correcting me to get me to stop. My boyfriend says I still do it in my sleep sometimes.

Now I just play with my hair all the time, rock back and forth, bounce my feet, and pick at my nails constantly.

I do this too... I can make anything into a song. I also have songs for all my cats.

If there's something bothering me I have a habit of talking to myself...audibly...forgetting to check if there are other people in the room. This can get embarrassing. (Especially if the object of my irritation is listening)
