Yes it was although my mom & my sister were both
breathing down my neck about not being able
to get a prom date.
My prom had a "Roaring Twenties" theme,
so everyone had to dress accordingly.

That may have been a good thing; I suspect that proms might be more fun if you don't have a date - it gives you a certain amount of freedom!
