Simply find a picture you like (you can do a google image search for something) and then either resize it yourself or ask someone here to do it.

I wrote some instructions on using TheGIMP, which is free software available on several PC platforms (PC, Mac, Linux), to convert images to WP Size.

This is my fourth. My first one was a persian cat for about a week, then it was Lightning McQueen from 'Cars' for the rest of 2006, then it was Lola from 'Charlie and Lola' through 2007, and now it's Petunia from 'Happy Tree Friends'.

Avatart gallery topic

I have had only one avatar here at WP, and I started using it when my post level reached 1000. I have no plans to change it, or to cease using it.

I find it confusing when people change them, the same way I feel when I have to change my clothes. One of tese days I must buy more of the same clothes so I am not in a meltdown when I change.

I don't like chaging my avatar... so i always use a photo of me... so people can always recognize ITS HIM!! ! SEE THE STRAPPLE! I KNOW THAT STRAPPLE!! !
