I noticed sometime last year WP changed the profiles so that age was displayed apparently automatically for all youngsters and also newer members of all ages. But its never shown up as an option on my profile to display age or I would just to avoid anyone's confusion.

For the record, I'm 39 and fast approaching 40 which is causing me much emotional distress. Though maybe I should put that I am 5 because I have many interests of a kindergartener and even catch myself watching shows like Wonder Pets. I really like Ming-Ming. Yeah I know 'act yer age why don't you!".

I don't really understand why people lie about their age. It sort of distresses me for some weird reason (in the case of older people saying they're younger), because it feels dishonest, and it gets to the point where you feel like you tell someone your age and they automatically add 3 years on it.

Of course, sometimes I say I'm 72 and have had plastic surgery as a joke but I only say this in real life so it's clear I'm joking.

I intend to be honest about my age even when I'm in my 50's.

I'm 20, I wish I was 18 (because I finished school later and the vast majority of people who are at the same stage as me; coming into their second year of uni and second year out of school are 18 turning 19, and I feel like I've lost time somehow, and people expect me to be more mature and worldly and know where I'm going in life, whereas I haven't had enough time out of school to figure that out yet! - I've only been out one year). But yes, I'm 20 and I will always be honest about my age.

Huh! You must save that part of your on-line persona for special occassions.

My age is quite accurate. 170 years of life, and I've learned quite a lot of things... I think it's time I start sharing my aquired wisdom to all who seek it.

And, as that young whippersnapper said in an earlier post, the key to a long life is as much sex as you can get short of killing yourself (the key is knowing when that limit is, and fortuitously for me I know that limit pretty darn well if I do say so meself). Always use a condom. These new-fangled condoms are miles ahead of what we boys had back when I was serving in the Army of the Potomac back in '63 (1863). All we had were condoms made of dried sheep intestine, and they didn't work for diddly squat.

I turned 20 in November and people still think I'm younger. The last time I got my hair cut the barber asked how old I was. I said "20..." in a sort of "why does it matter" sort of way. I looked at the price chart and the child rate was for under 16s. So this woman seriously thought that I could be 15.

Ticker,
it wasnt automatic as it needs changing in settings to show up and wonder pets is great have got a few of the shows saved on sky+ the animals look real.

Perhaps you got a style of haircut that typically younger people get?

But don't feel bad I was 35 before people stopped saying I looked like I was 16. Then I got used to idea of being young looking then suddenly people started calling me ma'am and I started getting grey hairs. So now I'm upset with looking old.

I looked on the profile once to see if I could find the setting but didn't. Will look again. Yep Wonder Pets is way advanced compared to what we had growing up. I think Tuck's tortoise shell is amazing because it looks so real if you look at the patterns in it.

I'll be 50 again this year.

(And I don't look a day over 70)

I keep thinking as I approach the next decade of life there is something I'm suppose to do or somthing I should stop doing. But can't figure out what. I don't think I'll make a good old fart.
