Today I picked up an original LP of 'I Robot' by Alan Parsons Project. Also a 7" 45 of 'Down Under' by Men At Work.
I was also given a few hundred pounds of junk records to cull through on my spare time. The guy who runs the store is moving, and he wanted to get rid of a big stack of un-categorized, miscellaneous stuff. Probably nothing good in there, but it will be interesting. I did find several one-sided 78s from the 1900-1910 period. I wish the Technics 1200 had a 78 speed.
I guess if I'm really curious, I can always pop in a 78 cartridge and record them to the computer at 45rpm and then speed it up. I built an impedance matching and attenuation cable that I can hook right into my amplifier for recording to the computer. I've already used it to back up some of my more obscure discs.
