44 is a greyish blue, but not as greyish as 2, somewhere between a 2 and a 4, but closer to a 4 and without the purple hint 2 has.

Funny reading through this thread suprised me, I could never picture 44 being many of the colours stated, espically a red or a yellow. I never knew there was such a wide range of opinions for different numbers.

whenever I hear the word 44 my brain conjures up a dark blue 44. :)

44 is dark blue, to me.

44 is whatever colour the two numerals are painted when you're looking at them.

The first four is yellowish orange and the second one is orange

No people, it's GREEN! 4 is light green like grass, two 4's is darker green, like evergreen trees, and when you hit 444 you have even darker green, etc. Then eventually it becomes very close to black :D

In my opinion it just feels to be a red, although its hard to describe the color. It is somewhere between a red and a brown.

44 is obviously dark green. :roll:
4 is green. Double it up, and you get a darker green.

At least, that's what my mind sees when I think about those numbers. :lol:
