Lace-Bane thinks he's giving up searching for that diamond plate pickguard he so wanted to find for his SG. He only found one possibility and it looks like the guy probably no longer makes them (custom) :?. The manufacturers who produced other mass produced variants went under, and the third option just no longer cares to make them for anything but Fender guitars apparently . Also that's not to mention that the only possible source if still making them charges way more than the others that discontinued them (It's understandable though since they are custom made... it's just so expensive :(). There seems to be a huge increase in price when looking at $50 and then the person who makes them custom charges $100 :|. I think I give up for now :?.

Dreading going to a jam session/audition on Wed. Not looking forward to a day and a half of doubting my skills. I hate forcing myself into these situations.

Ooh ooh ooh! It's a good thing Lace-Bane doesn't have quite enough money to buy a new guitar yet . We just found a semi-affordable model Gibson Les Paul that is jaw dropping :|. We add this to our list of candidates for our next guitar :D.

Although We'd have to test it out before buying it. We've never touched a Les Paul because we never had close to enough money in the past and don't like trying guitars that aren't obtainable :?. We'd have to see if we like her neck and sound though :). We only know the SG... but Les Pauls are sooo pretty .

Wishing I could go clothes shopping (how very un-boyish of me!) and, more than that, wishing I could spend time with my friend in real life. I haven't seen her since before Christmas.

I'm wondering why I get "Sorry, but no such user exists" when I try to send a PM to anyone and when this will be corrected.

How I have to wait until tomorrow night for the radio drama version of Middlemarch to come on the BBC Radio again. One broadcast and I am hooked. Now that's good entertainment! :D

I noticed something interesting - while listening to radio dramas, it's so much easier for me to picture what the characters and settings look like because of their voices and the sound effects, as opposed to reading a book where it's all just words on a page for me.
