I had another nightmare about being in the hospital as a patient operated on twice, in very brutal long operations on my torso, the first one was in front and the second one was on my back. and I got into a discussion with the surgeon about the various surgeries and resultantly an argument with one of the nurses of whether a certain procedure was done the way I described, she was belittling me because I didn't use the exact proper medical terminology.

i had a bunch of dreams only for the most part they evaporated, but what remains was a dream with a female character, that of Juliet in the famous Shakespeare play, only thing was it was set in modern times and she kept morphing from blonde to brunette to raven-haired, and she sweat like a pig, sweat was dripping off her chin very grotesquely while Romeo remained dry as a bone and seemingly not concerned. then i had a dream where i was in some kind of buffet line in a cafeteria, and i was collecting the last of the food before it was all gone and happily eating it, while my a certain WP friend sat and watched me eat, didn't eat anything herself. awkward.

what remains after the discouraging evaporation of day, is I was in the room with some college types, a male and female, and we were all discussing whether it was better to sail through life unscathed, or to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and be the sadder-but-wiser for it.

i dreamt i was dropped off at what looked like my old high school, and i walked down the main hallway, and it morphed into a hospital i used to work in when i was in the army. an alternate version of a housekeeper i used to know in the hospital, greeted me and i wrapped my left arm around her and she cooed with delight, as we walked together to the laundry room where a wheeled basket of my soiled articles was waiting for me to dump into the washer, and the housekeeper helped me sort through it, removing non-washable things such as tools and coins and such- i put those back in the basket and wheeled it back out into the hallway, then turning right down a corridor leading to an army barracks that somehow i knew i was supposed to live in. inside was rows of bunks with tight hospital-cornered beds covered in OD green blankets, except for my bed which was bare. i was in the process of trying to cover it properly when all of a sudden the barracks was full of GIs reclining on their bunks. then i awoke. strange. :skull:

It was interesting! Kinda vague as to what it was about or what subjects were discussed though

it seems in general, that we only really get a minority of our dreams. due to lack of logical/analytic informative input from the frontal lobes, the dreaming brain struggles to communicate via feelings and puns, visual and otherwise.

I'm not sure on the feelings part. Emotions are a HUGE part of my dreams. Those I remember more clearly than almost anything else about a dream. And it's weird, but I can feel time pass while I dream... The dreams just *feel* like they take time.
Even when I'm under anesthesia, I dream, and I always remember my dreams. Some I just don't care to commit to memory because they weren't especially weird, although apparently even the ones I consider "boring" are still very weird to most people...

I had a dream once where Nicki Minaj was chasing me with a squirt gun while singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and another where David Tennant was my Spanish teacher and the homework was to bring in puppies and I then got an "A" in the class because I brought him a sandwich.

out of a bunch, i was able to catch before it evaporated into the light of day, a snippet where i was at work in the hospital, the walls and carpeting and furniture were white, we were all dressed in white, then jonathan winters stepped into the room, he too was dressed in white, and we proceeded to joke about our respective "who-who's"  that was the first dream i laughed in, in a long time!
