When they ask what's wrong and then ignore it. ^ Repeatedly.

OK there's that indirect attack stuff , so , blocked.

I'll do it now :)
When you have a disagreement with someone and they go into a different thread and refer to you with an insulting post. But don't mention you by name so they can get away with it.
I don't think it should be tolerated, warnings should be given for this at least.

I bet a lot of people have left this forum due to it. It's a form of bullying the person can get away with for years.

When people imagine an insult from an innocent statement that was not even directed at them.

Personal attacks are against the rules here, it's basically a veiled personal attack.

If it's not a personal attack it is a form of harassment/bullying

I wasn’t even thinking about you directly when I wrote that post but, rather, stuff that I’ve seen from today which reminded me of my own experiences with family.

All things considered, it’s a wonder I haven’t blocked you. If you read this, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

If anyone agrees with me press the report button on the posts which are doing an indirect attack. Maybe this will then end. I really believe a lot of people have left the site due to this. As I would, if there was no block option or way to report it. It probably goes under the radar on the person who is being attacked so most of them just leave the site rather than try to deal with the problem.

To clarify -

Permissible: "Boris Johnson is great!!".

Also permissible, later and/or elsewhere: "I think supporting Boris Johnson is pathetic".

Not permissible: "{member} is pathetic - they support Boris Johnson".

It's a stretch to extrapolate a complaint about something into a complaint about someone who mentioned it.
There's also no reason to not mention someone by name "so they can get away with it" because... there's no reason to mention the name at all when the subject of the peeve is something.

The summer heat is my biggest pet peeve. I loose my appetite and I become very thirsty.

Songs that are just made to get stuck on a loop in your head, and I'm talking about general pop songs played on the radio, not jingles or Disney songs.

Being slandered and insulted for not caring enough (or at all) for other people's favorite social causes.
