Why were you depressed about your run?

Because I planned to do 9 miles and ended up only doing 8 (and that's the first time after 4 years of running that I have ever done that) I only jogged 11 minute miles until lap 5, and I was probably doing 13 minutes (i.e. almost walking) the other 4 laps (9 laps = 8 miles, 10 = 9) and my legs cramped up so I couldn't even get a good last lap in to redeem myself. It's as if I wasn't a runner anymore....(which is MAJOR part of my identity as you can see).

I like how letters are sent to my address in envelopes insisting that whatever's inside is URGENT and requires a reply, and yet it's addressed to "Resident."

Hello all, I can't be on the computer for a lot today. I sorta wandered off at midnight because I was depressed about my run and my family never answered my texts but were about to call the police....long story short, I'm lucky to even have this hour on here. :?

I've done that.

When I was younger, say below 10 years of age, they called the police and usually it would come up as a Missing child report (Which nowadays gets broadcast-ed all over TV, such as person last seen wearing blah blah and is _ years of age, has brown hair..really humiliating), when I was older 10-14, I would get grounded to my room.

But look at me now, I became home-schooled, so in a way things couldn't get worse. X D

Actually NOW, I'm responsible for myself when I go to college, but I still would get in trouble if I were out late.

There's a curfew in my town, so I wasn't aloud to go outside after 10pm when I was 17 yrs old.

Wow, they'd actually file a report. 8O There's a curfew for my apartment when I go to college. :/

Ah, I see. I used to run a fair bit myself, and always felt pretty gutted when I didn't reach my full potential. Everyone has "off days" though, and from what you described you still seem like a very skilled runner.

Yup. Oh really? That's cool...did you ever do it for a sport in school or just for yourself...aslo, did you ever compete in any races? Well, I knew I wasn't going to after the 5th lap...but I've NEVER not finished a running distance, that's the major reason I was depressed. Ok, hopefully it was just an off day...thank you.
