I would have liked it even better had I stayed longer. It was a nice walk from the harbor. I enjoyed the castle-like entrance to the Town. The Old Town itself was picturesque.

Alas, I could only stay for a few hours before the cruise ship left. I almost missed the ship! LOL

I had to walk because the 7A bus wasn't coming.

Dubrovnik is on the coastal strip of Croatia.

Glad you liked it :) It's nice, although in the summer it's hard to walk there without being squished by too many tourists...but yes, we take great pride in it :)

Try summer time in Sydney! It's like living in a furnace!
40 degrees Celsius at least!

Remember the story about the cat and the wolf? Well, my recent book features a cat angel and a werewolf-dragon knight-sorcerer. It's as crazy and awesome as it sounds. :D

Oi!

Thanks! He survived everything from clinical death, stroke, heart attack, to melanoma and leukaemia, but what killed him, in the end, was pneumonia.....

^^I don't intend to. I've had it once--never again. Plus I want to remain as 'pure' as possible.

Ah, I'm super excited about a game that's only coming out in English in March...but the Japanese version has been on Youtube ever since it was released there at the end of June...*sigh* Usually I'm good at being patient. Although, this particular game is in my top five favourite games list.

I hear that's common, when someone's immune system is compromised.

Indeed - he seemed indestructible, but then all those chemotherapies destroyed his immune system. It was some common cold in the end which turned into nasty pneumonia, and his lungs collapsed. Oh well, at least he's not suffering anymore.

I wonder if there will ever truly be an end to suffering?
I wonder if that is the simplicity of the promise, that death ends all?

I think it does. He died in his sleep, peacefully.

I asked him about the clinical death he encountered before, he said he doesn't remember anything in particular, no lights, tunnels or anything, just peace.

We just return to our origin, we were there already...
