Well, I've not drank wine in a very long time but I'll simply say red wine.


What places tend to have a great amount of beauty to you?

Nature-y places with lots of flowers and trees and rivers.
Do you drink tea, and if so, what is your favourite?

Yes, I drink tea, green tea that is..

What is your favorite type of artistic style?

I like paintings that show a busy town or other place and a lot of people.

What pet would you like to own?

Possibly a cat as my previous animal companion was such for 14yrs


What have you learned about your ancestry so far?

Tons, but in summary my ancestry is predominantly Māori mixed with some English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish heritage. Well, I've identified one Irish ancestor so far, and he ended up being sent to Australia as a convict. Now I can't pay out Aussies for being the descendants of convicts, because I'm one too.

I honestly think that they are ridiculous and not worth it.

Illogically the future. I am chasing the impossible dream of immortality by racing to beat death and weathering to the end.

Do you like living the way you do now?

yes.. one can't alter the past without causing future damage.

Were you diagnosed later or early in life?

Only a few years ago, in my late 20s.

Have you ever had to explain to someone what it's like to be on the autism spectrum, and if so how have they responded?

I often try to explain things to people, yet it usually doesn't work. For instance, the head of special needs at my school thought that I might tune the blaring alarm that is a school bell out, but four years later, I still have to cover my ears.

If I looked like Rain Man then explaining what autism feels like will be a walk in the park. I'm very prone to saying inappropriate things, and staying deeply in my own little word, and not being able to relate to people because I don't do small talk, and because too many people in a room combined with lights and sounds makes it hard for me to concentrate so I isolate. And, in my case, since I also have PTSD, depression and anxiety it's difficult to pinpoint where some of my difficult behaviours come from. I may even have BPD because I can be so unpredictable.
