I'm one step ahead of you there, I think after tonight I'm packing it in. Just too much of a hindrance being here. I need to sort out more important things in real life, and this place is fast becoming more real to me than so called real life.

I used to think I was addicted to the internet, since I'm on it almost all day. But I've gone to live with my sister temporarily several times, and she had no computer, and the only online access was at the nearest library. I got along fine.

I didn't go through internet withdrawal and I wasn't craving it. It was mildly annoying, not being able to, say, immediately look something up on Amazon or having to wait until the next library visit to check updates on forums or my favorite websites, but it was fine. It reminded me that I actually lived in a world without the internet before 1998.

Then again, I'm not a part of any social networking sites like Facebook or MySpace or Twitter or whatever the hell is popular this week, so I can understand how someone with a legion of online friends would be driven insane.

I would hardly say that I have a legion of online friends :lol: , and it's mainly this place that is the source of my addictive problems. Facebook is just used as a tool for me.
