I don't understand what's preventing him from just making a new account, on a practical level anyway.

Knowing other hackers online helps me make more time for people around me in life. I hope everyone feels welcome here.

I don't believe anyone denied a new account to a member who asked to be banned. How could anyone prevent a hacker from creating an account here? This site isn't friendly to make a new account though - I've heard of people complaining that the new accounts are difficult to make. But how could any of us, or even why would any of us deny someone like dcj a new account is mindboggling, and it makes no sense.

Also, if he'd ever want to be back, I can unban him this instant.

Most ISP's rotate their ip's anyway, so all he would have to do is delete his cache and cookies, or login from another device or use a VPN... DCJ is an IT expert, this sort of thing is rather beginner information. If he wanted to rejoin even under another alias he could, If he really wanted to he could log in and message one of the crew but he hasn't... Many if's... I dont know why DCJ doesnt want to come back, maybe its because he felt it was making things in his life worse so distanced himself... Basically it is all hypotheticals and if he really wanted to come back ( and yes, would love to see him) There is nothing stopping him other than his own personal reasons for not doing so.

We're not even allowed to ban IPs, but only usernames, since otherwise many other members get affected.

This site can be tricky to register, with all the captchas, but I don't think an IT expert would have any problems with that.

I think we've seen a broader decline in acceptance towards hackers really. Having ANY public profile as a hacker is nerve wracking. People have allowed technology to alienate us within our personal lives; nonetheless that's mostly paranoia. Most of us just want to be ourselves & help people. People & governments do not make this easy.

Many hackers, including myself, often feel too different to associate with anyone.

Just remove the word "hacker" there, and put various species of booyakashas instead and it's the same feeling, word for word lol

But, I'd like to know who it was, that he claims "have denied him the access to the other account". On what grounds?

And how did he speak to them after he was already banned? I don't think anyone has our e-mails, and Alex is notorious for taking a long time to respond to anything, and why would he disallow someone like dcj access to the another account is something I can't fathom.

DCJ, if you're reading this, make another account god dammit or I could unban you, and see who it was that you claim to have denied you the access.

I've just unbanned him, and sent a message inquiring what exactly happened. And I've also said he's free to open another accont whenever he might wish for it.
