Don't worry - it usually doesn't have anything to do with intelligence. People generally don't like people for being smart, they're much more likely to dislike them for that reason.

And Welcome to the unpopulars club! *hugs*

Hi,

First I must ask how to make that white section come up with the other persons comments.

Then I must say, why is everyone from Australia that I seem to talk to here. Makes for lag in comments. I'm sleeping while you are awake, you sleeping while I'm awake. :D

Anyway I would love to talk about Christine Feehan's books. She is an amazing author that writes books so well, and yes her research is amazing. That makes the books sound SO realistic. Like you could just go to these towns and meet the characters. I've read them so many times over and over and each time the book just gets better. Well they are all my very favorite books but I'll put them in series order:

Carpathian's
Drake sisters
sisters's of the heart
ghost walkers
Leopard people

Which one's did you read? And for those that are interested, these books are so good. If you let me know your interests I could tell you which series to read first.

It was some of the Carpathian books - Celebration (which was hilarious  ) and then Possession.

Most here are overwhelmingly from U.S. / Europe / Canada - the Aussies are a very small percentage, so maybe you just have luck like that.

Seems like this is where I should be posting. No matter if it's online or in the real world, I always have such a struggle with making friends. I am a very sociable person but it's never fun talking to myself D:.

I don't think that about your posts. I haven't been here all that long but I don't think that (or any of the other stuff you said) about your posts. Actually I usually enjoy reading your posts (and lots of other peoples!). So there!

I also happen to feel the same way about people's perceptions of me. I am deeply unsure about people's feelings toward me here. Though it would be accurate to say that I'm deeply unsure about people's feelings toward me in all areas of life. It isn't a nice feeling but I figure I'll just carry on posting regardless and I'm bound to find some people I can have a good conversation with and maybe relate to. For the record (and this is directed at anyone) I am always interested in conversation so if anyone feels the desire to speak to me then please do so :)

It ok to get on others nerves as it is only a human trait to drive each other to madness.
