Permanently. It's complicated.

I did rest all day. It was supposed to be a vacation day, and then I had too much work to do, and then I decided I couldn't face work and read novels all day. Most of the day anyway. So, I could trade you. :D Thanks for the hugs.

I stacked the deck by prodding them. I got them to say a few sentences about the event over the course of several days. The biggest event around a shared interest we'll have for the next couple years and I got a few sentences. Their last response did nothing to continue the conversation so I'm dropping it. This is the closest I get to social success in my life.

Hey, there is one near where I live. Seriously. :D

My work is really driving me crazy. And stuff just keeps happening that makes it harder and harder to catch up. A call out of the blue, scheduling the annual state review. An email wanting ANOTHER justification for client services. Five QSI assessments, also out of the blue.

It is difficult to care about my clients, when the state pressures for more and more paper (computer) work, more justifications, more documentation. I do believe that is the intent, BTW, to keep us so busy we cannot advocate for our clients' needs.

I hate driving so much. I am so scared of driving and i don't even know the direction of the roads in my neighborhood. I can't help but feel like i am going to get into an accident and i am so scared.

I don't know how to help a friend. They have me at such arms length I can't have a conversation with them. Someone they DO talk to doesn't take me seriously. I should probably consider this not my problem, since I am given no opportunity to do anything about it, but I have this stupid flaw where I friggin' care.
