Principle of explosion? Although at the moment, mentioning the word, "explosion," may be a bit dangerous... :lol:

But the message carries at most 6 bits of information at any time (and is even given a nice XOR checksum), so it should be relatively easy to decode (and is not longer than 24 chars).

So am I, but if the diligence is forced on the machine, then it can probably brute force the cipher in very little time.

Does it count as laziness if I study for a significant proportion of the day for completely impractical and off-topic subjects? :lol:

HINT:

Code:
byte[] key = { 1, 2, 23, 234, 37, 48, 134, 63 };
            byte[] iv = { 1, 2, 23, 234, 37, 48, 134, 63 };
            DESCryptoServiceProvider des = new DESCryptoServiceProvider();

            using (var fs = new FileStream("harrharr.txt", FileMode.Create, FileAccess.Write))
            {
                var cryptoStream = new CryptoStream(fs, des.CreateEncryptor(key, iv), CryptoStreamMode.Write);
                BinaryFormatter formatter = new BinaryFormatter();

                formatter.Serialize(cryptoStream, new harrharr());
                cryptoStream.FlushFinalBlock();
            }

it's like impossible without being able to copy that "text"
so I made it an image
:lmao:
:twisted:

I'm not evil enough.
*feels bad*
Here is a real easy one:

Code:
SSdtIHNvb29vd3d3aWlpaWllZWVlZSA6RA==

I suppose the '==' on the end is the hint.

I shall not eat lunch until all puzzles have been devoured! :D

Of course, I am lazy, and it is true that there is nothing Perl cannot do, so...

What kind of character is the one on line 1, column 37 (following "VTmŸ;")?

What kind of character?

A suspicious one, lurking in the dark, behaving like a potential graffito....
