First thing I can think of is remembering how many times I watched the Jimmy Neutron movie on the VCR. I think I watched it like 5 times a day every day for about 3-4 months. No idea, but I did watch it a lot. That and the Rugrats Go to Paris.

No. People are always innovating, always studying trends. Video games can only get even more creative and complex. Take Braid for example. It was a game involving simple game play only with a haunting plot. There are always different combinations to be made, new formulae to be considered.
