How woooould you go about changing your username?
Short answer: you can't. Too many posts and quoted posts are linked to the username for them all to be updated with a new name.
Since multiple accounts aren't allowed, you'd have to get banned voluntarily and come back as someone else.

Multiple accounts aren't allowed...couldn't you easily make-up different emails to make accounts.

Once you pick out your username, you're stuck with it.

Possibly, with care, but it's naughty and would likely get spotted sooner or later.
Also I think WP checks a user's IP address where possible, and that would expose many attempts.

Indeed, I needed a different name.

 I think I almost did that once...just because I really wanted to win the gender race....I made 2 posts with the thing and decided it was against my better judgement.

Hmmm, I guess that's true, I wonder if there is a way to change your ip :chin: Just kidding, I won't look that up....naaaa.

As an 'ordinary' user coming through some ISP - no, because it's their IP and not yours so no aspect of it is under your control.
But, technically there are "certain things" which can be done to hop around the issue.

Absolutely, I could change IP a lot on the other computer, but I'm not there anymore, I'm here, where it's pretty much a permanent IP.

Hmm, makes sense.

Lol, certain things, I don't want to mess with trouble so I won't ask/google.

I was looking at the label of the honey roasted peanuts I was eating and noticed this:

Peanuts from: USA and/or Argentina and/or Mexico.

Then I looked at the ingredients and saw this:

Peanuts, roasted in Peanut and/or Cottonseed and/or Sunflower seed and/or Canola Oil.

8O They should just write. "We have no f*****g clue where these peanuts came from or how they were prepared or even what a peanut is. Please eat them at your own risk."
