Huey from The Boondocks, Bojack Horseman, Stan from Gravity Falls, Max from Parenthood, the main character from the movie Her. I recently saw Lars and the Real Girl. I act a lot like that guy.

I did drugs (peyote) and danced around with a bunch of them if that counts for anything,

I conclude that they are alright folk

I think of 'disease' as an illness like cancer or Alzheimer's. Autism is a disorder (i.e. abnormality in brain wiring). If someone wanted to cure themselves, I'd be all for it, but I don't think it's realistic and investing money in it is a waste of resources.
