I hate it when someone sneaks up behind me and whacks me over the head with a wood plank. God, that just irritates the hell out of me!

That's far more than a pet peeve. That's a crime, isn't it? Report it to the police.

People being deaf ears and choose to have a bad reading comprehension

People who lie about your post history

The language police, people who dictate how you should describe yourself

Willful ignorance when it comes to civil and human rights

Breaking news

People who don't understand nuance and ignore the context of the post

People who think everything is a doggy whistle

People who think everything is gaslighting, or a straw man or bad faith etc. all because they don't agree with your opinion

People who think your post is about them

My kids not picking up after themselves and them eating in the living room and taking food upstairs

Flies in my home. They keep appearing out of nowhere so I have to chase them with a electric flyswatter and I use fly strips.

Ants in my home.

Pimples and acne on me

People telling me how to do my job and they are not the manager

People on the spectrum who lecture me about my symptoms but do s**t about their own.

Power hungry mods

People who don't own up to their mistakes and never fix them

Those autistic people that complain about "NTs" and yet behave in the same way as those "NTs" that they complain about. They make me wonder if autistic and non-autistic people are actually the same after all, which in turn makes me wonder if autism really exists. Maybe autism is just an imagination. Those that deny the existence of autism are probably right after all. Then, are we fooling ourselves on WP?

That's because lot of things ASD people complain about has nothing to do with being NT but it's actually human behavior they are complaining about. I have seen people on the spectrum judge others on it too like an NT would.

Yes, I probably have it coming.

The "mind without borders" thread. I don't know why, I just hate seeing it pop up every few months.

When people post several consecutive posts.

When I make a really good point in a thread but then it dies forever.

When people here take sides with the NT party mentioned in a post of a frustrated Aspie dealing with a difficult NT who won't understand.

When people here conclude everything you do with autism, even if what you're doing is a normal human trait.

When people here go on about there being no such thing as functioning levels, yet contradict themselves in another thread where they have to bring functioning levels into a discussion. I love catching them out on that one.

When people here miss the point in what I'm trying to make even if I have stated it clearly in my OP. Bonus points if I made the point several times.

When people here criticise me for having emotions.

When mods delete posts for trivial reasons, because they get power happy.

"Spicy hot" food that is not spicy/hot at all.

"Sweet chilli" flavor. What's the point? Sweetness destroys the hot chilli flavor.

I don't know how many times it's been said, and still it's ignored - you're using your judgement on a post but you don't have the additional information (or experience) we have, and anyone is free to ask for more information but that may be filtered owing to related personal or privileged information.
Accusing moderators of being power happy is a personal attack - you might want to readjust your attitude there. :shameonyou:

Spicy hot food that is so strong that it feels inedible and makes you cough, sneeze and have severe watery eyes and you feel like your mouth is bleeding. What is the point?

Personal attack means an attack to an individual, not to a group of people. I didn't mean anything personally against you or any other mods, it's just how this site is ran these days. As a mod you should be immune to these sorts of things, which is the reason I can't become a mod, because I'm too sensitive.

^I think I understand Joe's frustration. Her post was deleted but other members' posts of the same nature were not deleted. I thought it was an inconsistent application of rules.
