If you want a chemical free way to clean your sink or bathtub, slice a lemon in half, sprinkle some salt on it and you can scrub the tub.

To wash counters, floors, walls, toilets, use vinegar and water.

I have had two Siamese cats, both Lynx (Tabby) points. My first Siamese was Samantha, who lived to be 20. My current Lynx point is Prince, who will be eleven in May. He has two tabby brothers, Peter and Paul.

The original "Siamese" twins, Chang and Eng, were of mostly Chinese ancestry.

Random fact from my endless databank of information which is most likely useless to most:

A 2x4 piece of lumber is not actually 2 inches by 4 inches (anymore). These days a 2x4 is actually 1-1/2"x3-1/2". Likewise a 2x6 is 1-1/2"x5-1/2". Once you step above a 2x6, however, it changes. For example, a 2x8 is 1-1/2"x7-1/4", a 2x10 is 1-1/2"x9-1/4", and a 2x12 is 1-1/2"x11-1/4". This knowledge helps me in my job of designing and drawing homes.

I like this thread... let me think of another random fact to come back to this thread with! :D

Pound for pound, there is more sugar in a lemon than a strawberry.
