Vitamin A 15,000 to 25,000 IU retinol a day for adults (2,000 IU or more for children) may lead to liver damage, headache, vomiting, abnormal vision, constipation, hair loss, loss of appetite, low-grade fever, bone pain, sleep disorders, and dry skin and mucous membranes. A pregnant woman who takes more than 10,000 IU a day doubles her risk of giving birth to a child with birth defects.

My most filtered response is that there would no longer be autism. In fact, even the autistic would no longer be. Slight increases like 2 100 IU may be fine but unwise, but 200 000 IU for those under 35 lb? I think I will start visiting the AutismPedia whenever I want to become indignant about the reaction of society to autism.
RAAAARGH! 25 kIU of vitamin A is already acutely toxic! Are they trying to cure autism by literally eradicating it?! There are parents that think this is an attempt at a cure intended for autism instead of measles!
[But what possessed me to even bother looking at this? At least I will try to debunk the claims in the Stats forum.]
