My neighbours above being ridiculously noisy. They're like caged animals.

In their late 20s I think.

They probably don't realise how noisy they're being

Young neighbours seem to have a worser reputation, especially on council estates.

No I just meant because young people are just more physically active

I'd hate to live under anyone no matter if they were young or old
Especially the way these flats are built

Also, young people are more likely to have social lives that involve inviting people around to their home or having parties and such. As well as having sex, all of which can contribute to extra noise.

Yeah, the noiseproofing in here is crap.

Who designs the bloody things, that's what I'd like to know. And do they have to live in them? I bet they don't.

It's probably a closely-guarded secret or disgruntled tenants would be hanging the buggers from the lamp posts.

I'm very lucky because my apartment block used to be a hotel and they designed it with decent soundproofing. Used to get a bit of noise from the jerk upstairs, but he was extreme, and to my delight he moved out. I used to call him clumpy thumpy.

Yeah that's what you need the soundproofing

I'm lucky here because I'm on the top layer and I really like my neighbours as well. Well I suppose I've known them for over a decade so they're a part of my life now

There used to be some very disgruntled posts by Joe 90 on this subject!
