My best friend of 40 years who I've been really struggling with and who has made the last two and a half years very difficult and painful for me called me today. It means everything to me to have any contact with him. We do email, but don't often talk.

I got probably the best ever reaction to a gift: Delighted disbelief.

I got a WWII bone saw off of eBay for my sister.
She’s been suggesting we get her a bone saw for years; she’s very fascinated with medical history

Me: it’s a bone saw
Her: is it? Is it really a bone saw? It is?
Me: heheheh yeahhh it issss

ROFL a present for your xyster?
Did she get Gigli?

(Google is being useless... You have to search both those terms with "saw")

My family's tradition of going to a corn maze every fall (normally the whole extended family comes but this year we couldn't agree on a date so it was just me and my mom). Way too hot for this time of year but it was fun, we went through the maze, saw some goats, and ate cider donuts (always the best part). I wish my aunt could've come but she wasn't feeling well, but she did come to dinner with us later.
