Just waiting to hear about a bedsit a mile or so up the road they've offered me.

Too much to do, and I'm rather trapped by my own brain wiring into trying to do it all really well as if I had all the time in the world. I also feel a bit ill from being underslept and knackered due to a long car ride yesterday. I'm effing retired but I'm working harder than I was when I had a full-time job. And why? Did I plan to run myself into the ground with overwork during the autumn of my years? Nope. I thought I'd just be mucking about with music, enjoying social stuff, loafing in a rocking chair on the porch. A wise, conscientious man's work is never done. Excuse narcissistic venting, I'll probably be allright in a bit.

An online community I used to frequent has completely changed, the regulars I used to know have disappeared MIA and it's been taken over by children or childish adults who communicate through insults.
It's my fault, I left for too long. But it feels like my favourite pub closed down and I have nowhere to unwind and banter after work.

It is related to the cough/cold I have had. I pulled a muscle in my back, coughing.

It now has a throbbing pain now and again.

Don't blame yourself. There was probably nothing you could have done to stop the rot even if you'd been there while it was happening. I've tried appealing for courtesy on social media and they just call me a tone policeman and carry on like I'd never spoken out against what they were doing.

Ok...I get it.
If I'm hyperfocussed there is a possibility I will not even know you're speaking, so demanding an acknowledgement is reasonable.
But if you tell me someone I don't know, from a TV show I don't watch says something quite unremarkable on a subject for which I struggle to determine a raison d'être then I reserve the right to
ignore you !
