Today I finally cleaned my pet hermit crab's aquarium out and got him some fresh beach sand. I've been depressed for so long that I just completely neglected him and felt really bad about it. I cleaned the clutter out his home and made it look nice and neat and got him a heat lamp to stay warm now that the weather is getting cold. It made me feel good to take care of such a tiny little exotic animal. :)

IdahoRose's avatar pics always make me smile :D
I had a deep conversation with my behavior principles instructor, and he was impressed with how much I knew for being in an introductory course. I think he knows that I'm one of the top students in the class.
When my women's studies instructor handed back my quiz from Monday she did a little happy dance and said I was the only one in the class who got a perfect score (125% on that quiz). I think she also recognizes that I'm one of the best in the class even if I don't contribute much to the group discussions. She always smiles and waves at me if she sees me outside of class.
I only have one midterm left, it's next Tuesday and it should be pretty easy. It's for aspects of disability. I totally have that stuff down, and the professor for that class knows what a good student I am and has commented on how thoroughly I do all my assignments.
If I get an A or a B on my government midterm, I will be really really happy. But realistically, I'm ok as long as I pass. That class is really hard for me.
And now I'm going to watch new episodes Biggest Loser, Parenthood, New Girl, and Ringer online.

A batch of chili I made today turned out pretty well. I put sauteed onions and bell peppers and about a half a bottle of cheap red wine in it. And then reduced the hell out of it.

FTW. Something I like to make is Arizona Desert Chili:

(recommendation: lean stewing beef, also 1/4 tsp Dave's Gourmet Insanity in lieu of jalepenos)

The more I browse around here, the more I see that plenty of members I recognize are still active. That makes me happy.

Because some TV sets just aren't ready to reveal their sexuality to their loved ones, and they should only do so when they feel comfortable.

Awesome answer.

I told another member here that the woman in her avatar was pretty, and she told me that she was flattered because the pretty woman was her.

I did something nice!

No, I mean it!

Really!

:D

I did something else nice for my hermy crab, I made him a special meal with chopped up peices of overriped bananas (with peels) and some chopped raisins. I'm going to start feeding him more creative meals every week. :)

it's been a week since my birthday and few of my family have called to wish me a happy birthday. i know it's weird i'm happy about that but i dont like them and i'm trying to cut them off. it makes it easier to keep things secret too.
